Artist's Comments

Painted this in a rainy morning
when I was ill at home...

Unconsciously, circles and lines made up these wild flowers...

The painting is blue in color, somehow I couldn't capture it right with my camera...

(watercolor & indian ink. 07.01.2009)

~shve's gallery brims and bubbles with exuberant jewel tones, with bleu crowning all the rest as a paradigm of poetry, revealing with a practiced hand the delightful, impromptu nature of watercolour and inks. (Suggested by `kasumichan2003 and Featured by ^snowmask)

This is beautiful! I love how the colors have faded into one another so naturally - it gives a very nice effect. Great job with this!

For this painting, I decided to let the water dynamic carry the colors dropped on the background. Then, let the background contrast out the wild flowers.

I am very glad that you observed my artwork in details...
Thank you for your lovely comment.

You're welcome! I've experimented with watercolors before and found that it's very tricky sometimes, compared to oils or acrylics. So I thought that the way you handled this one was very well done. :) Happy to help out anytime.
